We care about technology-enhanced human systems. So we thought we would share regular thoughts and opinions about why we think they matter so much.
Well - what a year 2019 has been.
A new look and feel for the brand, deciding to show ourselves as HARBOUR rather than 3D MarComms, and a fresh look at who we are and what we do. Plus a little around how we do it too - as well as, importantly to us, distilling things down to understand our 'why', which underpins everything (read more here). 2019 hasn't been the busiest in terms of commercial workload to be brutally honest, some nice new projects and some great work with existing clients, but on balance staying where we were in 2018. However, sometimes taking your foot off the gas (intentionally or otherwise) gives you an opportunity to use that space to ask some deep questions of yourself and focus on product and people - and being 11 years into this, we probably needed that more than we appreciated.
And so we step into 2020 with an even clearer idea of who we are and what we're about and, we feel, a rejuvenated sense of purpose and direction.
Anyway - this post isn't really about us as much as an opportunity to thank all of our wonderful clients, partners we've worked with and businesses who support us. And anyone who's worked with us or followed us knows that pretty much ever since we started, we don't do gifting or cards at Christmas. Instead we give to charity - and this year we're copying what we did last year as a step away from what had become our traditional approach, namely rather than splitting our donation across three charities, we've opted again to give a sizeable donation to one, which just seems so apt at this time of year. So we've paid for 26 spaces at Crisis centres this Christmas.
So whatever part you've played in working with or for us this year - it's helped bring a little bit of respite and hopefully some joy, maybe even a path back to health and happiness, for some of the most disadvantaged in our society.
Thank you from us too - and we wish you well over the festive period and look forward to working together into and through 2020.

p.s. here are some snaps of us pre our Christmas party with a little Secret Santa action thrown in #ForcedFunCentral :)
p.p.s. no, before you ask, we won't be sharing images from the party - or the aftermath :)
